Fraser Island

Ravensbourne

Ravensbourne is a great weekend getaway for the outdoorsy time. While camping, hike a trail through the Ravensbourne National Park. You can also go boating or fishing on Lake Cressbrook. If camping is not for you, yet you still want to enjoy the country, there are luxury houses you can rent. Ravensbourne is also known for its farming country.

Palm Cove

Broadbeach

Girraween National Park

Girraween National Park is located in the Darling Downs region. There is plenty to do with at the Park camping, bushwalking, rock climbing, picnicking, and sightseeing the granite formations, flowing streams. See unique wildflowers and wildlife, the balanced boulders. Or if you are not camping, you can still spend the days on the trails or picnicking.

Dalby

Just two and a half hours from Brisbane sits Dalby. Spend the weekend to see what Dalby has to offer. There is some local history to be seen and heard in here. Go to the Pioneer Park Museum, Art Gallery, or try a two-hour horse-drawn tour to learn a little local history. If golfing is your thing, the Dalby Golf Club is a must.

Mount Tamborine

Montville and Maleny
